On the road again.

Mutterings continued.

I've taken today off as "carer's leave" to take Mum to Radiotherapy Oncology at Charlie Gairdner's. Out to Armadale to pick up the folks, in to Charlie's, out to Armadale and home again. Mum was wiped out by the time she got back home.

Today's appointment was the initial consultation - she has to go back again next Wed for another consult and the treatment. The doctor thinks that one decent dose of radiotherapy should help to shrink the tumour some and reduce the pain.

So many young people in the waiting room....

I was hoping to come home to Return of the King on the doorstep but it wasn't to be. Still, it's only 1437 so perhaps it will arrive some time this afternoon. And it was only posted on Monday....
